SOOC VS EDITED IMAGES
What Happens After Our Photography Session?

“Your camera takes really nice pictures!”  Every photographer has heard this at one point or another and the truth is that we all cringe when we hear it!  It’s usually not said with malice, but we know that it’s definitely NOT the case. Most people don’t realize the amount of work that we put into an image.  […]

Maddy {Mad Hearts Photography} - Thanks so much! I will probably share some additional tips on post-processing, when I have a chance. But honestly, there’s not much to it. Life with Kaishon - Thank you for this great little tutorial! You are the best. I really need to get a reflector, but then I will need to find a helper for every shoot, and believe it or not, those are hard to come by in my neck of the woods! Darn it.

Elly - Haha, such a fun tutorial – the background music was pretty fun :)

Maddy {Mad Hearts Photography} - Lol! Ah yes, the music! I was looking for something royalty-free and that’s the best I could find :) thanks for checking out the video!

MASQUERADE BOUDOIR / 1
Masquerade Inspired Styled Shoot

Why I love glamour photography is the same reason I love Halloween.  It’s the fantasy. It’s tapping into an alter ego and being someone else for a few hours. I love being able to witness and document that transformation.  Here’s a small set from a masquerade theme glamour session I shot over the summer. I […]

EricaLee - These are soooooooooooo pretty! I love how they came out!!!! {Quick Question: did you use off camera flash? or Studio Lightup Setup?}

November 4, 2013 - 9:25 am

Maddy {Mad Hearts Photography} - Nope! All natural light :) The only window was in front and we used giant reflectors surrounding her to the left, right and underneath.
