What can I say about 2013? Every year keeps getting better and better. As I look through these pictures from the last year, I can’t help but feel incredibly blessed to be able to call these beautiful people my clients and friends. Thank you for another great year- can’t wait to see what 2014 brings!

Between their booming cake business and my busy photography schedule, I see my favorite family less and less these days. But every year we make time for family photos and try to switch things up a bit! The boys have been obsessed with superheroes this year and I knew I wanted to incorporate that theme into their yearly family session/ holiday card. When I approached my sister-in-law with the idea, she was all for it and went searching for superhero themed outfits for the entire family. The end result was so fun and fabulous – definitely my favorite family session of theirs to date! And here’s their holiday card! I knew going into the session that I wanted to design a “comic book” style holiday card to go with their superhero photos. So I designed an accordion card design that accommodated so many of our favorite shots from the session!

that’s such an awesome holiday card! great pics as usual maddy! happy new year! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Now that all the craziness of holiday pictures and gift orders are over, I can finally wrap up the last sessions of the year! This one belongs to a family that is near and dear to my heart. This is their third Mad Hearts session and you know what they say…third time’s a charm! It’s always a pleasure having them in front of my lens and this time, they included the latest addition to the family – their adorable beagle mix pup!
