The Creativity Project // The Dark Side

I am super excited about this month’s theme. Well, I should be since I was the one who suggested it! Unfortunately, when it was time to come up with an idea, I was completely stumped. So when my photographer friend Robin suggested I check out the annual Zombie Walk in Asbury Park for some “dark side” material, I was extremely grateful for the awesome suggestion.  I didn’t even know such a thing existed, but I’m glad we decided to take the hour trip to the shore to find out. It was SO much fun!  As a lover of all things Halloween, this is right up my alley and a perfect way to kick off the season.  Kleber and I are already planning what to wear for next year’s walk! I feel like a cheater because it didn’t really require too much creativity on my part to take these pictures.  But I promise, what I lacked in creativity, the zombies made up for it ten folds!  To continue the circle, visit Katherine at Sound Like Rain for her take on this month’s theme.

Since this was my first zombie encounter, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. But luckily, I picked up a few things about the undead during my assignment, besides the fact that they love eating brains.  Here are ten things I learned about zombies:
