So the new season of Sons of Anarchy is around the corner and I’m so excited! Who knew that I would be such a fan of leather and biker dudes, especially since you won’t catch me anywhere near a motorcycle when I’m home. But when I’m on vacation, it’s a completely different story. It’s become a tradition of sorts to rent a moped (granted a moped is not a Harley, but close enough!) so we can explore our island vacation destination at our leisure and it’s something I look forward to doing on every trip. Kleber does the driving, I just sit back and enjoy the warm sun and breeze. Even though there are always touristic attractions to see, it’s nice to explore the remote locations off the beaten path and get a more holistic sense of the island, its people and culture. In Mykonos, we rented a 4-wheeler (we couldn’t rent a moped without a motorcycle license) and drove to the highest point of the island where we were able to watch the sunset all to ourselves, as well as explore life outside of the buzzing town center. As the sun sets on this portion of our trip, I leave you with these last images from our time in Mykonos.
