MHP Session: Bling-Bling

Mariah was very excited about her Sweet Sixteen party. So excited that she wanted to make sure she did not miss a single second of it.  I was excited for her too.  I never celebrated my Sweet Sixteen or Quinceañera in big fashion, so I couldn’t wait to live vicariously through her day. But I also know the importance of documenting special occasions:  the memories will eventually fade, but photos last a lifetime.  So I convinced her to sneak in a quick portrait session before her party started – being extra careful that none of her friends or family spotted her before the big entrance.  It was like a scene from “Mission Impossible”: running, hiding and finding secret entrances around the hotel. Not to mention battling the heat and humidity in order to get the perfect shot. But it was all worth it in the end! All the bling-bling  in the world couldn’t outshine Mariah on her special day. She was a STAR – and a gorgeous one at that!
