We are truly kindred spirits! My idea of a grand DIY project is buying a new pillow and throwing it on the sofa-voila! Whole new room! But at least you have a helper . . . I’m sure the Parker pups will be oh-so helpful! :)

Bless you and everyone else who takes on the task of DYI’ing anything. I’ve always known that it’s sham, a ton of work and not a drop of fun (IMO). Best wishes on this project, can’t wait to see the big reveal, whenever it happens to be.  We put all our indoor projects on hold to focus on the sun porch this summer. Maddy, you have such good taste! I know we don’t have a before photo, but you’ve really chosen a home that has great potential. I’m hoping that our next home has the same potential… porches are rare these days (at least where I live). We’re going back and forth between getting a fixer upper for our next home or buying a house that’s already done (because prices are so great). We’ll see!
