Sixties Styled Shoot

I guess I can credit Mad Men for my love affair with the 60’s. The hair, the makeup, the CLOTHES… Seriously, what’s not to love? At least once or twice a year, I like to do a “just for fun” styled shoot where I can play around with some new shooting techniques and get a little more creative than I would normally on a commissioned session (I played around with some off-camera flash for some of the shots- see if you can spot it in some of the images!).  This shoot was organized alongside my wedding business partner, Mindy of Freckles and Dimples Photography.  She happened to get us exclusive access to Martin Tower in Bethlehem, PA – the tallest building in the city and which was once the headquaters of the Bethlehem Steel Company.  The building is currently vacant (and has been for awhile), but since it has the mid-century architecture and design elements, it was the perfect place for our styled shoot! Here are a few of my personal favorites:
