Writer’s Block

I thought writing would come easier once I passed the exam that was looming over my head…of course not!  During my early blogging days, I could write five posts a week without blinking an eye.  Now it’s a constant struggle. I think I may need to regroup and rethink what I want this space to be.  I obviously want a place to share my photography, but I can’t help but want it to be more than that. I’m looking into some blogging e-courses and other things to jump start the creative process and I’m thinking about  keeping a journal so I can jot down ideas as they come. Anything at all to get me excited about writing again.  How do you cope with writer’s block?

Amy - Ugh! Writer’s block . . . I don’t really love it. Sometimes stepping away, getting out, and doing something different helps. Sometimes I just have to keep plugging away, even if what I write is less than stellar. :)

The Guilty Hyena - Congrats on passing the exam! I spend so much of my time curating items inspiration online to share on my blog, thus writing always becomes secondary, which can be displeasing.

I’m pretty sure you will find your groove, creativity always wanes I know mine does.

Sarah - I have been struggling with that too. I find it’s just better to embrace the creative times and the low times. It’ll come back!
