29 Ways to Stay Creative

I was going to take a blogging “Spring Break” because I have a couple of non-photography/blogging related projects I need to tackle this month and then this turns up in my newsfeed! It’s funny how that happens.  So I”m saying nay to a “break” and YAY to tackling this list – and of course, sharing my experience here. Hopefully, we’ll get some of those creative juices flowing during an otherwise very dry month.

Amy - Oh, I love this info-graphic! 29 is the one that always seems to get me. But this is the year! Perhaps . . . maybe .Pretty sure. :)

Good luck with your projects!

Camila Faria - That’s a fabulous idea Maddy. I always say that we have to step away from the computer every now and then to stay creative!

Life with Kaishon - Yay! I have been having a hard time with blogging lately. Maybe you can help me : ) Let me lay down on your therapist couch. So, I have oodles of sessions to blog. I mean, oodles and oodles. I would say at least 50. I become overwhelmed when I try to pick out which pictures to post. So completely overwhelmed. And then, because I am so overwhelmed, I don’t blog any of them. I don’t know what to do. It isn’t because I don’t like the pictures. It’s just I have no idea how to pick. And I worry I will put too many in a post. Or not enough. And the other thing is time. I used to make time for blogging and now…I don’t. I kind of feel like quitting blogging. I feel like my voice is gone. I am lost.

Send me a bill.

Love always, your friend forever and ever until the end of time, Becky

Maddy {Mad Hearts Photography} - You take that thought out your mind of quitting ASAP! You bring so much light with your daily posts :) you have a gift, really! But I do know how you feel. I often feel like I’ve lost my voice along with the joy of writing. But I know what my problem is: too focused on the business side of things with little time to focus on shooting and writing for myself. Hoping this little exercise will spark that desire to shoot and write for fun. As for getting organized, perhaps you need some help to bring you up to date? I suggest we meet up in March (after the big thing I’ve been stressing about is over) and we can figure it out together :)

mindy - How ironic is it that I have a list started (#1 suggestion) right beside me, sitting on my desk at this very moment, but its filled with crap I dont wanna do? I think I need to start a new list with things that are fun. I think I need a nice falafel sandwich for lunch and a stroll around the farmers market to jump start my new list :)

Kristin - Loving this. So inspirational. A great reminder when you feel bogged down by your list of goals!

Tiera - This is amazing! I think it needs to go on my bulletin board for those times I’m not feeling so inspired :)
