March Madness // A Week in Photos

The month of March is already living up to it’s wild reputation, especially on the work front! It’s tax time, which means I’m like a hamster on a wheel at the office until April 15th.  I’m also trying to squeeze study time after work hours for a licensing exam.  I was such a great student in college, who knew it would be so difficult to get back in study-mode after all these years. And let’s not forget trying to squeeze in home DIY projects and revving up for spring photography sessions and collaborations. But despite feeling a little overwhelmed at times, I am extremely grateful for all the things keeping me busy at the moment.  Perhaps I can thank the lunch break strolls in 70 degree weather for my sunny disposition.

Hannah - Oh man…tax time…blah. And the hamster wheel imagery makes me feel very sorry for you. Hope everything gets better and you’re able to focus on the things you love/enjoy the most. :)

Love the street photos by the way. But seriously, I love all your photos so that’s not saying much.

Maddy {Mad Hearts Photography} - Thanks Erika, but that’s the neighborhood around where I work. I live in a residential area. Though I enjoy working in the city, I love coming home to peace and quite :)

Maddy {Mad Hearts Photography} - You’re spot on! Actually that whole part of town is Brazilian! Tons of rodizio spots and delicious foods. In the summer, I’ll bring the big camera with me to work so I can take more pictures. It’s a fun part of the city to explore :)

Nadette@Eat, Read, Rant! - I totally know how you feel–there really aren’t enough hours in the day for everything that has to get done. Hence my dropping of the face of the web for over three weeks! But we’re women, and we can do it all (and by all I mean only the things that have to be done and neglecting all other things until the craziness passes). What license are you applying for? Good luck on your exam! Is it April 22nd yet?
