{Mad About …}

Not only are these IKEA’s bestseller, they also happened to be splattered all over the web and have entire Pinterest boards dedicated to their versatility and overall awesomeness.  I’ve always loved built-in bookcases, but I’m not a fan of the large price tag that comes with having them custom-made. This is where IKEA comes to the rescue! You can get the Expedit in tons of shapes, sizes and colors.  Since the 5×5 piece was too large for our purposes, we created our own 3×5 bookcase with three single  row units for a nook in our living room. I used some existing items I had laying around and purchased a few extras (bins, storage boxes, fake plants…) to complete the functional and stylish space. And the great thing is that if I ever get bored of my current arrangement, it’s simple to switch things around for a completely different look.
