This weekend I had the opportunity to photograph a very special family…..my family!! We decided to do our annual beach outing, except that this time around I brought my camera along for the ride. I wanted to get some family portraits on the beach, so we all coordinated outfits and waited around for the midday sun to settle for our photo shoot. With a family this large, pulling off this photo shoot was no walk in the park, especially when there’s such a short window of opportunity before the sun sets. Luckily, they were all good sport (well…some more that others!) and we were able to take pictures of all the individual families (plus a group shot) without a hitch! Even though we have many beautiful memories together, I think this day will go down in the books as a truly special moment in time! Here are some of my favorite photos from the day:
